Art moved to CV that had no seniors. An independent, CV played a strenuous mostly Susquenango League schedule beating Greene, Deposit, Harpursville, Chenango Forks, Whitney Point, Tioga Center and Oxford all twice. The losses were to Windsor twice and Sidney and Newark Valley once each. The stars were balanced with Ed Rog, Don Heller, Frank Krajca, Larry Hitchcock and Milt Kruse were usually in double figures. Chris Withers and Bob Maguire also contributed most games, a great start for a new team with no seniors. In the Sect 4 tourney the Warriors ran into an Ernie Davis EFA team that went undefeated. The final score was 67-47 and was played at Central. This was Art’s 1st loss there in 3 years Chenango Valley (CV) 1956-1957 (14-4, 14-5)
