Art’s first JV team at Central only lost to cross-town rival North, once in the regular season 31-24 and in a STC March playoff, 37-28. They had beaten North in their first meeting 26-20. Three key players were called up to the varsity for games noted: Al Horsky(1), John Brechko(5) and Pete Lepay(4 games). This second part of the season became an ongoing challenge due to mid-year graduations. Norwich in 2 defeats was outscored 45-3 and 71-5. Hodock and George Lucik and Hodock were consistently high scorers.
